Home Care Assistant

Cityshapers is a multi-branch organization that provides care services mainly to children and young persons. We are looking to recruit full and part-time carers for our Northampton, Milton-Keynes and Wakefield, you will be required to work throughout our locations and all surrounding areas.

We do not require you to have prior experience as we provide full accredited training!

We typically have 2 shift times; 8:00 – 20:00 and 20:00 – 08:00.

Job Responsibilities

Cityshapers carers are expected to provide care and support to promote independence in children & young persons while showing dignity and respect. We offer a number of different services which include:

• Provide personalised care and support to children and young people, promoting their independence and wellbeing.
• Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and mobility.
• Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with the young person, their family, and professionals.
• Support young people in accessing education, health appointments, social activities, and community resources.
• Promote safeguarding principles to protect young people from harm and ensure their safety at all times.
• Work collaboratively with families, social workers, and other professionals.

Pay Rates and Perks

• Minimum £12.20 per hour

To be considered for this role you must possess a UK driving licence.
